
Ingredients
- 3-4 slices challah bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c milk of choice
- vanilla extract or paste
- masala chai tea powder
- chopped pistachios
- confectioners sugar
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- 2-3 tbsps pistachio butter
Instructions
- Slice challah bread about an inch each
- Whip together heavy cream and pistachio butter until stiff peaks form and set in fridge until ready to plate
- Mix custard with egg, milk, masala chai, honey
- Heat and butter griddle or pan, dip bread slices in the custard, and sear on medium heat until brown on each side
- Assemble your french toast with the whipped cream and for some extra crunch, I added chopped pistachios
